With over 20 years of experience in the retirement living industry, I have helped many people navigate the important decision of where to spend their retirement years. As someone who is also over 50, I understand firsthand what today’s retirees are looking for in a lifestyle community.
My husband and I have lived in Moonta for the past 20 years and have always appreciated the relaxed lifestyle, beautiful coastline, and strong community spirit. Recently, we decided to make the estate our own home and built the Boronia design. It provides everything we were looking for, including space for our caravan, multiple vehicles, and my husband’s large shed.
We particularly enjoy being close to the beach, entertaining family and friends, and taking in the spectacular sunrises and sunsets that make Moonta Bay such a special place to live.
I have been coming to Moonta for holidays for most of my life. For 10 years, our family had a permanent site at the Moonta Bay Caravan Park. In 2008, we moved out of the caravan park and purchased a holiday home in Moonta.
In 2022, we sold our family home in Paralowie and made the move to Moonta permanently. We had always planned to retire here, but we decided not to wait any longer and made the move sooner than expected. It was one of the best decisions we have ever made.
We fully renovated our home, inside and out, and absolutely love where we live. My husband and I enjoy gardening and fishing together, and I love cooking and entertaining family and friends. I also enjoy playing poker and have made many wonderful new friends since moving here.
Moonta is a beautiful place to live and an equally wonderful place to work. I feel very fortunate to be able to work so close to home, in such a lovely environment, alongside such great people. I am proud to call Moonta home and look forward to being part of its bright future.
